Seasonal Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter

Main Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitising dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen work surfaces, floors, and waste areas
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team
• Supporting chefs and kitchen colleagues by organising ingredients, equipment, and supplies
• Handling deliveries and storing food supplies correctly
• Operating dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times

Requirements of the Role:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
• Physically able to carry out duties involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
