Seasonal Chef

Main Duties:

Kitchen Operations

• • Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, food preparation and service.
  • Complete food preparation tasks as directed, including preparation of ingredients and dishes.
  • Ensure kitchen work areas are kept clean, tidy, and well organised at all times.
  • Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Ensure all cleaning & hygiene standards are adhered to.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team in monitoring stock levels and reducing waste.
  • Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to support a positive working environment.
  • Be willing to support colleagues and assist with additional tasks as required.

Requirements of the Role:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or food preparation environment is required.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically able to undertake kitchen duties, including standing for long periods and manual handling.
