Driver and Warehouse Operative

Main Duties:

• Safely drive a 7.5 tonne (C1 category) vehicle for local and regional deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading stock for deliveries and collections
• Work alongside the driver as a Driver’s Mate when required
• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch goods in the warehouse
• Carry out general warehouse duties including stock checks, organising goods, and keeping the area tidy
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Follow all health & safety procedures and vehicle compliance checks

Capabilities & Requirements:

• Valid C1 driving licence (essential)
• Driver CPC qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic literacy and numeracy for paperwork and stock handling
