Kitchen Porter

Main Duties:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and waste disposal areas.
• Assist kitchen colleagues by organising ingredients and supplies.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a hygienic kitchen.
• Handle deliveries and store food supplies appropriately
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements of the Role:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.

• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.

• Physically able to handle lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
