Job description

This a full time role, working every other weekend.

As a Sales Assistant in our Garden Furniture department, you will be responsible for helping customers in selecting the perfect outdoor furniture for their needs, maintaining an attractive showroom, and driving sales in the garden furniture department. This role combines customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork to create an exceptional shopping experience.

Main Duties:

  • Welcome customers, provide product advice, and handle inquiries and sales. This will include face to face, email and over the phone.
  • Promote products, meet sales targets, and upsell complementary items.
  • Keep displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Monitor inventory and assemble/ disassemble furniture as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Supporting where required across the Centre.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Retail or sales experience preferred, with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable lifting and moving heavy items and working on your feet.
  • Friendly, proactive, organized, with an eye for detail.
  • Able to work weekends.

Rates displayed are for 21+, competitive rates for 18–20 year-olds.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour 

Experience:

  • Retail: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
